Our remote ISO support gives certified small businesses the same proportionate, discerning service our on-site clients receive, delivered online for a fixed monthly fee. Your internal audits and management review are carried out by an IRCA registered lead auditor, wherever your business is based.

Who carries out your remote audits
Next Step Compliance is a family-run ISO consultancy based in Kent, run by Jeanette Wessen and Tim Thompson.
Jeanette is an IRCA registered lead auditor for ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 and holds NEBOSH. Every client she has taken to certification has passed, and remote clients get exactly the same discerning eye.
Tim brings a precision manufacturing background and is working towards his IRCA qualifications.

Who is remote ISO support for?
Small businesses with up to 20 employees that already hold ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001, and have someone in-house who looks after the system day to day. It works wherever you are based.
What is included for £350 a month?
Two internal audits a year, an annual management review meeting with you, and a consultant on the phone on the day of your external audit. All of it is carried out remotely by an IRCA registered lead auditor.
Is VAT added to the price?
No. The price is £350 a month, with no VAT to add. There is a 12-month minimum term.
How do remote internal audits work?
We audit over video call, looking at your documents and records on screen and talking to the people involved. You get a clear report, with every finding explained and a practical next step for each.
Can you help us get certified for the first time remotely?
Remote support is for businesses that already hold ISO. Building a new system and getting certified is done through our Bespoke service, on site in Kent and the South East.
What happens on our external audit day?
A consultant is available by phone throughout your certification body's visit, to help with any questions and talk through findings as they come up.
Can we move from Remote to Bespoke later?
Yes. If your business grows beyond 20 employees, or you would like us on site, we can talk about moving to Bespoke support in Kent and the South East.
